Programs We Support in West Virginia

Palco proudly provides financial management and support brokerage services for three key West Virginia Personal Options Medicaid waivers:

Aged and Disabled Waiver (ADW) – A long-term care alternative, which provides services that enable individuals 18 years of age and older to remain at or return home rather than receive nursing home care.
Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities Waiver (IDDW) – West Virginia’s home and community-based services program for individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities.
Traumatic Brain Injury Waiver (TBIW) – A program that delivers supportive services to help individuals remain in their homes rather than transitioning to a nursing facility. Eligibility requires individuals to be at least three years old and have a documented traumatic brain injury—defined as a non-degenerative, non-congenital injury to the brain caused by external physical force, resulting in partial or total functional disability and/or psychosocial impairment, or an injury caused by anoxia due to near drowning.

Enrollment: How to Get Started

West Virginia Personal Options self-directing participants can meet with their case manager to create a person-centered service plan (PCSP) and complete both initial and annual enrollment forms—either electronically or in writing.

Participants and workers of the West Virginia Personal Options program and those eligible for adult developmental services may contact Palco to get started.
